Instead of simply reading about how communities traded before everything had a price tag, students will actually practice it.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThroughout the program, children will learn what bartering is, how to determine the value of farm goods such as eggs, produce, livestock supplies, homemade foods, and handmade items, and how to negotiate a trade that feels fair to both sides.
